of Reference and Constitution for
the
Regional HAUC Representatives Group

To provide
a conduit for Regional HAUCs to link nationally and with the National
HAUC for the promotion of bench marking and best practice and to recommend
agreements and issues for national implementation across all aspects
of the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991.

To Co-operate
with the HAUC Working Parties.

To raise
with the National HAUC issues and recommendations arising out of Regional
HAUC initiatives and best working practices.

To exchange
views on local initiatives within the remit of the Regional HAUCs.

The joint
Chairmanship will be the representative of the Joint Secretariat of
HAUC.

There
will be a Utility and a Highway representative from each Regional
HAUC or RAUC at an appropriate level to speak with authority.

The Department
of Transport may provide a representative to attend "By Invitation".

Representatives
from Northern Ireland.
-
Substitutes
may be appointed by members and others may be co-opted or may attend
by invitation at the discretion of both sides.
